Favela Dreams NL is an organization dedicated to children growing up in the slums of Brazil, also known as the 'Favela'. These neighborhoods, often characterized by poverty and limited opportunities, can be a breeding ground for social challenges, including the temptation to get involved in crime.
For these children, the path to a hopeful future is sometimes fraught with obstacles, but sports can be a powerful tool to help them out of this situation. Sports not only offer physical benefits, but also help develop character, discipline, and teamwork—values that are invaluable for young people.
