This resistance
parachute enables you, through resistance training, to pull off faster sprints and increase your
maximum speed. Using the Speed Parachute will make you take faster, more powerful and longer
strides, rapidly increasing your maximum speed.
The SKLZ Speed Parachute has a quickrelease system, allowing you to activate the parachute in the middle of a sprint. When you start
running, the chute will unfold, it then provides variable resistance of about 7.5 to 15 kilos. The faster you run, the greater the resistance. Attached to the running parachute is a special rotation belt with
free-motion ring, which makes the parachute rotate 360 degrees. This allows movement in any
direction. A big advantage of the speed parachute is that it can be used in very many ways to train in
the most sport-specific way possible. The most common training form is sprinting in a straight line,
but sprinting with a change of direction is of course also possible. In this way, you also achieve more
sport-specific movements. Using a training buddy is also a good way to train, the buddy does not
wear a chute, so you bring an element of competition into the training.
